Aether Ledger
Futures, prop process, analytics and AI in one account context.
This is not a comparison of marketing headlines. We checked which plan actually unlocks futures, what “free” really limits, and which workflow each journal fits.
Editorial disclosureDisclosure: Aether Ledger publishes this comparison and is included in it. We therefore show our method, our own limitations and every primary source. Prices can change; the linked vendor page is always authoritative.
Futures, prop process, analytics and AI in one account context.
Very broad analytics; futures require at least Pro.
Polished suite, but key features sit above the entry plan.
One full-access plan and strong behavioral review.
Aether Ledger currently combines separate trading accounts, prop-risk context, journaling, analytics, playbooks and an evidence-led AI coach for free during open beta. The trade-off: it is younger than established platforms, beta pricing is not a forever-free promise, and regular free users currently receive five AI analyses per month.
A $0 tier is not a free futures journal if it only imports stocks. An entry plan is not a multi-account AI suite when those features start one tier higher.

Annual equivalents exclude taxes and promotions. “AI” can mean credits, summaries, chat or coaching depending on the vendor; the individual reviews explain the distinction.
No paid placements and no invented star ratings. We reviewed official pricing and feature pages, then matched the result to common futures workflows.
Support, import, fees, executions and account separation.
Notes, playbooks, rule adherence, psychology and traceable reviews.
Filters, R metrics, drawdown, calendar, MFE/MAE and drill-down.
Broker sync, file import, replay and AI assistance.
We use the lowest meaningfully comparable tier, not only a teaser price.
Product maturity, documented restrictions and audience fit stay visible.
Every review includes the vendor’s official source and distinguishes headline pricing from the tier a futures trader is likely to need.
The strongest current overall value for this specific futures/prop workflow, with an honest maturity caveat.
Excellent for power users, but the free headline is not the true futures entry price.
Highly polished, but Pro—not merely Essential—is the fair comparison for ambitious multi-account use.
A strong replay product; the comparable replay-plus-AI package costs far more than the entry headline.
Focused and clearly priced, especially compelling for psychology-led reviews.
Proven reporting, but futures users should budget for at least Silver.
An unusually generous free tier if manual entry or Pro CSV fits your workflow.
A feature-rich free entry whose order cap active futures traders may hit quickly.
Interesting for teams and trading desks; solo futures traders may not need the overhead.
A solid free planning tool, but less suited to mobile, automated or AI-assisted workflows.
The short version of the most important pricing and product distinctions.
For an account-separated futures and prop-firm workflow, Aether Ledger is our editorial pick. TradesViz is compelling for analysis breadth, TradeZella for a mature paid suite, and Edgewonk for trading psychology. The right winner still depends on your workflow.
Aether Ledger is free during open beta without promising permanent free pricing. Stonk Journal and TradeBench advertise permanent free models. TradesViz has a permanent free plan, but it only imports stocks. Tradervue and Trademetria impose tight free import limits.
Several products reserve futures import, multiple accounts, replay, AI coaching or exit analysis for higher tiers. This guide therefore shows the entry price and the realistically usable futures tier.
